What to bring ?

Sunscreen, polarized glasses, hat and lunch. 
I supply water, tackle, rod & reels and bait if needed

I have fly fished all over the world, but nothing compares to
southwest Florida. Watch 150 pound tarpon skyrocket into the air. 
Cast to Daisy Chaining Tarpon on the Gulf beaches
of Boca Grande, Cayo Costa, Gasparilla Island and Venice.

Fish the lush grass flats of Charlotte Harbor for Tarpon, Redfish, Snook and Sea trout, or just wade an outside flat and throw plugs or cast flies to tailing redfish or laid up Tarpon.

Pole along the mangroves in the Back country and search for 
Snook, Redfish and Tarpon or marauding black tip sharks.
Run off the beach to outside wrecks for Permit and Amberjack.

and Kingfish to add to your fishing enjoyment.

The Bigger One Got Away :)

Tarpon are stilling going great with many still on the beach and in the backcountry .  
Skip's Skin roll seems to be the Fly D'jour.  Last week clients jumped tarpon ranging from
50 to 90 lbs.  The prospect looks good for late June and into July as fishing pressure subsides .  
The fish are more settled and easier to approach.

Little Tunny have made their appearance within a half mile offshore .  Clients have caught them 
on fly to 16lbs.  They make long burning runs which is a lot of fun on 8wts.
Snook are still on the beach and walking the beach will produce well.  Start around 9am 
with the sun at your back and stay out of the water for best results.
If you haven't fished for Tarpon there is still plenty of time left this season.
