November has started off with a bang with good catches of snook and trout....and now the Redfish are showing up and are eating flies like crazy. We are entering the negative tides of the winter and are looking for tailing fish and then fishing the incoming tide near the Mangroves where visibility is good for reds.
Epic nights of snook fishing are happening!!! Lots of fish as water temp is still 70 degrees at night and the snook are chewing on both tides.
Terry Byce of Bradenton absolutely whacked them showing great casting skills and knowledge of fly presentation. Once again, the"Twinkie" , got them going and they never stopped eating it. When Terry landed is 43rd snook of the night.....he was worn out and ready for beddy bye!
The days are cooler as are the nights and water temps are in high 60's and low 70's and fish are active and eating.
Still seeing Tarpon rolling about but haven 't targeted them lately.
Great time to fish!!!!
Keep that rod bent!
